All training is a trick to dogs. This is our philosophy. We use the clicker to teach dogs anything and everything. In our mind, there is nothing that a dog can't learn when you teach it as a trick. Any normal dog can be taught with the clicker and with proper training you won't always have to have treats on you to have your dog work.

Tricks are excellent for strengthening the bond you have with your dog.

Teaching even regular household manners to your dog such as waiting at the door, come when called, or long downs as if they were tricks makes teaching your dog all the things she needs to know fun!

Trick DOG Workshops

Our workshops take place in the spring/ early summer and/or fall.

All tricks are taught with food rewards and preferably the clicker. Using the clicker makes it faster and easier to train more in less time. Dogs learn extremely quickly when taught this way.

After the dog has learned the trick well, and has been weaned off the food rewards, many tricks can be done in a row without rewards.

Trick DOG Shows

Occasionally we have the chance to invite guests to do Trick shows with us. If you have taken one of our classes, agility or tricks, or have had your dog trained here by us and your dog is friendly to adults and kids, let us know if you are interested in joining us in a performance or two or if you would like to learn how to do tricks with your dog in order to perform.
